Passion for Prayer
Prayer is an essential component of Church Growth and foundation
The Bible says 2 Chronicles 7:14“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”
The challenging word in this 21st Century time is the first word “IF”, and many people make the choice, and they don’t.
At City Church, we would encourage you to be different and say “I WILL” and come and get involved. We meet for prayer every Monday at 8pm, this time is given as a celebration and includes worship, reading and prayer, the sessions allow for personal expression with people walking around, kneeling or just sitting, joining together with other people’s prayers and bringing their own.
