Our Vision

“To build a body of people who are willing and desiring to go on a journey together so as to realise their full potential in accordance with their Gifting, their Calling and their Faith. So that together we can impact for good our community with the Grace of God.”

Purpose

It is important for us as a Church to have a vison, this vison needs to be clear, measurable and “doable” - It needs to be something that every member can say with all honesty “Count me In” and I hope and pray that at members of City Church Winchester, you will be excited by the vision that God has given, and will pray purposefully as to how you can be effective in serving within the vision.

How are we going to do it?

By using the creativity that God has placed within everyone of us, using the acronym ART.

• Approach:

  We will build relationships with work colleagues, friend groups, clubs, and schools that are genuine friendships with no hidden agendas - but with an open handed gesture of genuine love, care and commitment.

• Restoration:

  Accepting that all of us are on a journey from brokenness to wholeness, when an opportunity arises through crisis, trouble or pain, to take that moment to share the goodness, grace and hope that we have in Jesus.

• Train:

  When a person makes a step towards walking with God, we need to be ready to teach them how to walk with God, this is called “discipleship”, this is a non-judgemental way of saying this is how God is able to bring out the very best of life in you, “Life in all Abundance”
